We started doing this a couple of years ago and found it to be a fun outdoor activity for the family, especially for our oldest daughter. The way it works is to use a Global Positioning Satellite receiver (GPS) to locate hidden containers all over the world. You can visit the website, www.geocaching.com, and look up the GPS coordinates, that’s it. Once you find the cache there are usually small trade items that you can take as well as a log to sign with your user name. You can then return to the web site and log your visit to the cache. |
